Preschool Program

The emphasis here is school readiness, socialization, and learning through play. Children will learn to be part of a group and develop good listening skills, self-help, and turn-taking skills which are key to transitioning into the school system. Various methods will be used to facilitate this programming, but the focus will be on “learning through play.” A variety of activity centers will be available for children to use. Children will initiate the activities in which they wish to participate. This exciting program also follows the same early learning curriculum stated in the early learning program. The morning program follows the SDc57 school year and is open to three and four-year-olds. It runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm five mornings per week (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri) with a lunch provided by families. Parents are able to choose between two classes Tuesday and Thursday class, or Monday, Wednesday & Friday class. For our early learning program (childcare) child is enrolled in both preschool classes
